Though Jesus is no longer physically on this earth, his church is his body on earth today (Ephesians 1:22-23, 4:4, 5:23; Colossians 1:18). Therefore, those who make up the church are Jesus’ hands and feet of service today (1 Corinthians 12:13-27)!

Just like Jesus, we are trying to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10) and to serve (John 13:12-17). Here are some other ways in which we try to serve others:

Know Your Bible
We sponsor a question-and-answer TV program. The program airs every Sunday on WHBF-4 at 10:30 a.m. You can submit a question to be answered and sign up for a free Bible correspondence course. To learn more about this program, click on www.knowyourbible.com.

Singings
On the third Sunday of every month, we enjoy a service of congregational singing during our evening service at 5:30 P.M.

Youth Activities
Activities range from cookouts to youth rallies! Each activity always includes Bible and prayer times. These activities are a great way for our youth to introduce their friends to Christianity as a life to be lived, not merely a pew to occupy on Sunday!

Vacation Bible School
The event is for the kids and for the kid in all of us! It is a wonderful way to instill God’s heavenly truths in young hearts (Ecclesiastes 12:1; Proverbs 22:6; 2 Timothy 3:15-17).

Ladies Days
This day has become a favorite of our ladies. A guest speaker is invited to share messages from God’s word. Then they all enjoy lunch together.

Corn Roast
On a Saturday night in August, the entire church meets in the parking lot for roasted corn and all the trimmings. Everyone leaves full of food and fun.

Potluck Dinners
The entire congregation gathers periodically for an afternoon of fellowship and good food after Sunday morning services.
